The Legacy
MOSCOW COPPER MUGS CONTINUES
This tradition started in 1941 when Sophie Berezinski immigrated to the United States with 2,000 solid copper mugs that she helped design with her father. She had a serendipitous meeting with the owner of the Cock ‘n’ Bull pub in Los Angeles and the original importer of Smirnoff Vodka, with whom she perfected the recipe for the original Moscow Mule, housed in Sophie’s signature copper mugs.
Sophie is the Great-Grandmother of JJ Resnik, our founder. We're committed to continuing the legacy of hard work, innovation, and strong roots that Sophie started decades ago with some copper mugs.
