Expensive and turning brown/green after ONE drink
Honestly a little disappointed. I understand itâs real copper so it will tarnish, but my husband had one drink out of it- I washed it in cool water and dried it right away and the inside already has so many discolouration spots. Iâm not sure what I expected or what this cup will look like after a couple more drinks but I didnât think that would happen so fast. I ordered from Canada too so after the conversion and tariff fee I had to pay upon arrival it definitely wasnât worth the money.

Copper naturally develops oxidation when exposed to liquid. Depending on the mineral content of your water, this can happen fairly quickly. To keep your mugs looking their best, we recommend hand washing, drying right away, and avoiding the dishwasher. Oxidation is harmless, but if you prefer a shine, you can use our copper polish from the care kit. More details are available on our Care page.

Itâs a Nice Mug
Like the design, glad itâs pure copper. Just not super pleased with how thin and light the mug is. Was hoping for a more heavy duty feel. Donât think Iâd purchase again, but would recommend if looking for a basic, lightweight copper mug.

About Our Copper Mugs
A chance meeting between three business owners (Sophie with her copper mugs, a bar owner making ginger beer, and the owner of a Smirnoff vodka distillery) in 1941 led to the creation of the classic Moscow Mule recipe. They came up with a refreshing combination of vodka, ginger beer, and a squeeze of lime juice, all in a copper mug able to keep the drink crisp and bubbly. Since then, the Moscow Mule has remained a favorite.
