We just received our copper cups and we love them. We fill them every night, pop them in the frig, and drink them every morning. After reading about the benefits of drinking water from a copper cup, after letting it infuse for 8 hours, we are looking forward to feeling healthier.

I havenāt given them as a gift yet, but soon. I was happy with appearance and engraving, but like another person whose review I read, Iām disappointed with the weight. I expected them to be thicker and heavier. I ordered personal engraving , though, so Iām stuck with that, which was the problem, this is the only place I could find that offered engraving in Solid Copper cups. The order was filled speedily.
Thank you for your feedback. Many people are surprised by the weight of solid copper because itās easy to assume it should feel similar to stainless steel. Copper actually serves a different purpose. Its job is to quickly transfer the cold from your drink to the outside of the mug, creating that frosty, chilled effect. A thick copper wall isnāt needed to achieve this, since copper is an exceptional thermal conductor.
Stainless steel, on the other hand, is a much stronger and more rigid metal but a poor thermal conductor, which is why stainless products often require added insulation or thicker walls.
Copper is naturally delicate, softer and more malleable, so thereās a balance between durability and maintaining the effectiveness of its temperature transfer. We use a heavier gauge copper than many manufacturers while still keeping the mug at a comfortable, practical weight.
