What is the Strand House Mule?

The Strand House Moscow Mule is a modern twist on the timeless classic. It enhances the traditional blend of vodka, ginger beer, and lime with a splash of apple bitters, then finishes it with a crisp apple garnish. The result is a refreshing cocktail that balances bright citrus, warming spice, and a hint of orchard sweetness for a clean, contemporary take on a favorite.

What You'll Need:

  • Copper Jigger – for measuring ingredients accurately, ensuring the right balance of flavors.
  • Copper Mixing Glass  - to combine and chill the ingredients evenly before pouring without the fizz.
  • Ice Mold – to create small ice that keeps the drink cold without watering it down.
  • Copper Mugs – the traditional vessel for Moscow Mules, keeping the cocktail extra cold and enhancing the presentation.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces Ketel One Oranje
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 3 dashes of Bar Keep Apple Bitters
  • Splash of ginger ale
  • Ginger beer, to top
  • Granny Smith apples, mint and lime for garnish

Directions:

Combine vodka, lime juice, ginger ale, ginger beer and bitter in mixing glass and gently stir.Pour into a copper mug and garnish with apples, mint and lime.
