There are so many St. Paddy’s Day cocktails out there. With any luck, you’ll get to try them all (just maybe not all in the same night!). Because we could all use a little luck o’ the Irish right now, here are 15 St. Patrick’s Day drink recipes that will have you kicking up your heels.

IRISH MULE

The Irish Mule is another classic drink, a refreshing twist on the Moscow Mule, made with Irish whiskey instead of vodka. It's easy to make and even easier to enjoy - add some ice, lime juice, ginger beer and your favorite Irish whiskey, and you've got yourself a delicious treat.

How's what you need to make the perfect Irish Mule to celebrate the Irish flag!

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 ounces Irish whiskey
  • 6 ounces ginger beer
  • Half-lime juice
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Mint sprig for garnish

How to make it:

  1. Pour 2 ounces of Irish whiskey into a copper mug or rocks glass
  2. Squeeze in the juice of half a lime (about 1 ounce)
  3. Add 5-6 ounces of ginger beer
  4. Stir and add ice cubes
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprigs

BUKAROO MOSCOW MULE

This variation of a Moscow Mule features whiskey as its star ingredient. Switch out Bulleit for the Irish Whiskey of your choice to make it more traditional. It’s definitely one of the best St. Patty’s Day cocktails this side of the Atlantic.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 oz. Bulleit Bourbon or the Irish Whiskey of your choice 
  • 1 oz. Orange and our Moscow Mule Ginger Syrup (You can also make your own by combining
  • 10 oz. simple syrup with 3 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice and 2.5 oz. puréed Ginger)
  • 1 Dash Absinthe
  • Soda Water

How to make it:

  1. Build the first 3 ingredients in a Moscow Copper Co. copper mug over ice and churn to mix.
  2. Top with the soda water to 3/4 level.
  3. Add more ice and fill rest of way leaving about a fingers wash line.
  4. Garnish with fresh mint sprig and an orange twist, placed on top of the ice.

IRISH CACTUS

Did someone say easy St. Patrick’s Day cocktail? This two-ingredient drink is a mash-up of cultures and a fine substitute until it’s safe to travel again! 

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 ounces Irish cream liqueur
  • 1 ounce tequila

How to make it:

  1. Collect ingredients.
  2. Fill an old-fashioned-style glass with one large ice cube. 
  3. Pour your Irish cream, followed by tequila.
  4. Stir or shake well in a cocktail shaker.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

POT OF GOLD

Come for the clever name, stay for the delicate, refreshing flavors of this fun cocktail. Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur (or syrup)
  • 4 slices cucumber (1-inch thick)
  • 8 leaves fresh mint
  • 1 ounce ginger beer
  • Garnish: fresh mint

How to make it:

  1. Collect ingredients.
  2. Muddle cucumber and mint in a cocktail shaker. 
  3. Pour the vodka and elderflower liqueur.  
  4. Garnish with a cucumber round and extra mint. 
  5. Serve and enjoy!

IRISH HAMMER

Want a St. Patrick’s Day-inspired drink that’s on the sweeter side? Time to bust out the Baileys! This themed drink is perfect as an after-dinner beverage. If you like the taste of coffee cake, you’ll love this simple sipper.

Ingredients you’ll need:  

  • 1 part Jack Daniels
  • 1 part Irish Mist
  • 1 part Irish cream (Preferably Baileys) 

How to make it:

  1. Collect ingredients.

Ingredients you’ll need:  

  • 1 ounce Irish cream
  • 7 ounces milk
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

How to make it:

  1. Collect ingredients.
  2. Pour into a Collins glass. 
  3. Give it all a stir.

GREEN BEER

Ok, we had to. No list of St. Patrick’s Day cocktails would be complete without the drink and color of the hour.

This green beer recipe is the St. Patty’s drink for those who aren’t looking for anything complex but still want to get a little festive. Aren’t into food coloring? Just go with a plain Guinness!

Ingredients you’ll need:  

  • 1 light beer (glass or bottled) 
  • Green food coloring

How to make it:

  1. Pour beer into your Moscow Mule Copper party mug.

  3. Lightly mix without stirring out too many bubbles.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 ounces of Irish whiskey (We recommend Jameson Whiskey)
  • 1 ounce Tequila
  • Simple syrup
  • 1 ounce of Lime juice
  • Salt
  • Lime
  • Mint
  • A cocktail shaker

How to make it:

  1. Rim a glass with salt
  2. In a large cocktail shaker, add the Irish whiskey, the Tequila, the simple syrup, and the lime juice.
  3. Add a splash of food coloring and ice to the shaker.
  4. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  5. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a lime wedge and mint. Have fun!

SHAMROCKARITAS

If you're looking for a way to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day with a bit of humor and a whole lot of flavor, then the Shamrockarita is the perfect drink!

This delicious concoction is made with tequila, Triple Sec, lemon juice, and sour apple liqueur.

Plus, it looks as good as it tastes. Here’s how to make the perfect drink.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 1½ oz. Tequila
  • ½ oz Triple Sec
  • ½ oz. Lime or lemon juice
  • Sparkling sugar or flaky sea salt
  • 1 oz. sour apple liqueur schnapps
  • 1 Granny Smith apple

How to make it:

  1. Start by cutting the apple into thin slices and mixing them with the lemon juice. Set the mix aside.
  2. Combine more lime juice, Tequila, Triple Sec, and schnapps in a shaker.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake for about 30 seconds.

    Ingredients you’ll need for the Irish whipped cream:

    • 1 cup of whipped cream
    • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
    • 1/4 cup of Baileys

    Ingredients you’ll need for the cocktail:  

    • 1 1/2 oz. Irish cream
    • 1 1/2 oz. hazelnut liqueur
    • 1/2 tbsp. crushed hazelnuts

    How to make it:

    1. Pour 1 ounce of Bailey's liqueur and 1 ounce of hazelnut liqueur into a cocktail shaker.
    2. Shake well and pour in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
    3. Prepare the cream, whisking cream and sugar, and then add the Baileys.
    4. Garnish the drink with the whipped cream and the crushed hazelnuts
